According to the himalayantimes, a child died and 17 others sustained injuries when a bus carrying marriage attendents met with an accident in Mirge of Dolkha on Saturday morning. According to Inspector Jeevan Tamang of the District Police, the deceased has been identified as four-year-old Kriti Khadka of Melumi, Dolakha. Khadka died on the spot. Police said that the ill-fated bus (Ba 2 Kha 6579) was heading towards Dolakha from Betali of Ramechhap when it skidded off the road and plunged 300 metres down at around 11 am today. Police said that they were 50 to 55 people including groom and bride on board the bus.
