The meeting held at the Prime Minister’s residence, Baluwatar, took this decision with the commitment that the parties would forge consensus by the coming meeting of the Constituent Assembly on April 23. As the PM Koirala was leaving for Indonesia, one leader from the NC would be assigned in his place, he added. Similarly, Vice-Chairman of the UCPN (Maoist), Narayan Kaji Shrestha, said they had nearly reached an agreement on three points of the agreement made on January 19.
