Everest climbing season likely over due to Earthquake

Sherpas in Nepal have refused to rebuild a climbing route on Mount Everest that was destroyed by an earthquake-triggered avalanche more than a week ago, a decision likely to end this year's climbing season.Some 800 climbers were on the mountain when an avalanche roared through base camp sparked by a massive magnitude-7.8 earthquake that left more than 7,000 people dead.
