Kathmandu Valley recorded the hottest day in the last three years

The death toll in the massive earthquake which struck Nepal on Saturday has passed 7,180 and many thousands are still unaccounted for.
Kathmandu Valley recorded the hottest day in the last three years with temperature soaring to 35 degree Celsius on Saturday. It is the hottest day in the last three years with temperature soaring to 35 degree Celsius. The 35 degree Celsius is the new record in three years according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division. Meteorologist said the temperature will hover around the same average in the central and western region for a few more days, He said Kathmandu had recorded 35.2 degree Celsius on June 31 in 2012. In May, 1989, the temperature had climbed to 36.6 degree Celsius. The temperature in Kathmandu city was 33.5 degree Celsius on Tuesday and Wednesday which had gone down to 32 degree Celsius on Friday.
