Former Minister and Sadbhawana Party leader Shyam Sundar Gupta, who was serving time in Central Jail, Sundhara, has been released on Saturday after he served three years of prison terms. Following the news of his release, Gupta’s supporters thronged at Central Jail to welcome him. Gupta, who is a former minister for supplies, was arrested for masterminding the abduction of businessman Pawan Sanghai.
