A BRAVE Kurdish boy repairs firearms used in frontline battle against Islamic State. The 12-year-old gunsmith volunteers with his father who has more than 20 years experience in the trade. Primary school pupil Omer sometimes works up to 24 hours a day, repairing anything from heavy machine guns to sniper rifles. The weapons are then handed back to the Kurdish forces - known as the Peshmerga. The troops are fighting the Islamic State who now control swathes of Northern Iraq.
