Birgunj is in tense following clashes between police and protesters. Police fired 20 rounds of tear gas in Birgunj’s Nagwa chowk to take situation under control. More than 8 protesters have been injured in the incident. Injured have been taken to Narayani Hospital for treatment. Police had to intervene after protesters obstructed Nagwa chowk and started demonstration.
