Typhoon Soudelor slammed into Taiwan's eastern coast early Saturday, bringing fierce winds and torrential rain. Typhoon Soudelor is barreling through Taiwan. The storm, whose maximum sustained winds were estimated at 120 mph at the time of landfall, has been unleashing tremendous rainfall on Taiwan's mountains. Strong winds have been reported across virtually all of Taiwan's large population centers.
