UCPN (Maoist) Chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal and senior Vice Chair of Madhesi Peoples’ Rights Forum-Democratic (MPRF-D) Rameshwor Ray on Sunday individually called on Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli at the Prime Minister's official residence, Baluwatar and discussed about the country's contemporary issues. On the occasion, UCPN (M) Chair Dahal apprised the Prime Minister about his meetings he held with leaders of various political parties including of protesting United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF) in respective of his capacity as the coordinator of High Level Political Mechanism. Likewise, the meeting between the Prime Minister and Ray focused on the discussions about the ongoing Madhes agitation and possible ways of addressing it. The MJF leader briefed the Prime Minister about the problems of Tarai Madhes. In response, the Prime Minister said he was serious towards the Madhes issues and was seriously working to address them, according to his Press Advisor Pramod Dahal. RSS
