Prateek Pradhan, press advisor to Prime Minister Sushil Koriala, resigned on Monday from the post. "I have resigned from the post of the prime minister's press advisor with effect from today itself for maintaining my own freedom of expression," Pradhan tweeted on Monday. Pradhan told Republica that he quit the prime minister's office to help the prime minister in his work. Sources, however, said that he chose to resign from the office after Indian side expressed serious reservations about the article "Wrong advice" authored by Pradhan and published in Republica on Thursday.
