Parties representing in parliament firm to protect constitution

The political parties representing in the Legislature-Parliament have expressed commitment to becoming united for saving the new constitution and facing political hardship. The political leaders who attended the meeting called by Prime Minister Sushil Koirala at his residence Baluwatar reiterated that they would work in unison at present national crisis, said Finance Minister Dr Ram Sharan Mahat to the media persons following the meeting. According to him, leaders from all political parties in the meeting expressed serious concern over the undeclared blockade of transportation of goods into Nepal. "The activity which has emerged in the latest stage is indeed the blockade, and all the political parties' opinion is that it is wrong," he said adding, "This issue should be resolved by the concerned sides through dialogue. The obstruction/blockade created over an internal political dispute can not be tolerated." myrepublica
