Interview with Dev Gurung Communist Party of Nepal Maoist

A government team led by Joint Secretary at the Ministry of Commerce and Supply, Shambhu Ghimire is heading to China on Saturday to sign trade agreement to import fuel from China.

 The seven-member delegation comprises officials of the Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) and representatives of the ministries of Foreign Affairs, Law, and Finance. NOC and China National Petroleum Corporation (Petro China) will sign the first commercial deal to supply petroleum products to Nepal, according to Acting Director of NOC Sushil Bhattarai.

 The two sides will also hold discussion to fix the prices of the petroleum products that Nepal will import. China has already provided 1.3 million liters of petrol to Nepal in grant after a Memorandum of Understanding ( MoU) was signed signed between the two countries to supply fuel to Nepal.
