Rabindra Prasad Adhikari was born on May 5, 1979 in Bharat Pokhari , Kaski to Indra Prasad and Laxmi Adhikari. He holds Master’s Degree and commenced his political career from ANNSFU, students’ wing of CPN-UML. Adhikari was elected from Kaski -3 in 2008 CA election with 13,386 votes. His closest opponent Jhalak Pani Tiwari (UCPN-Maoist) trailed by 10,926 votes. Likewise, Binda Devi Ranamagar (NC) received 9,041 votes. Adhikari, former secretary of Kaski District Working Committee of UML became quite popular as a young active leader during his tenure as a CA member. He was with CA’s committee on National Interest Preservation and Parliamentary Committee on Public Account.
