As protests in Madhes stretches, the number of protesters joining sit-ins at Nepal-India border point of Birgunj is seeing a decline of late. There are fewer demonstrators and cadres at the border in the morning while their number gradually increases in the afternoon and evening. A few police personnel and agitators were injured in the incident that lasted for around one-and-a-half hour. The clash ended after Seema Surakshya Bal personnel stood at Dasgaja between Nepali security personnel and agitators. UDMF cadres have disrupted the Jamunaha border point for the past two days. Agitators have erected makeshift tents at Dasgaja area to disrupt the border.
