Udal Singh, a resident of Adhiyapur village in Etawah district of the state, is the proud owner of the lactating male goat. Singh, who is a man of few words, says that the four-year-old goat also breeds apart from producing around 300 grams of milk per day. "Four years", Singh said when asked since how long he possessed the goat. "It was born at home," he added. "Since the last two months," Singh said when asked since when it started producing milk. "It is milked twice a day and produces about 250 to 300 grams of milk." Villagers said that the male goat was discovered lactating when Singh noticed a kid feeding from the goat's udder. Upon seeing this, Singh tried to milk the goat and was successful, said a villager. The male goat has been consistently producing milk ever since, he added. Singh said that villagers from nearby areas also throng his home to get a glimpse of the milk-producing he-goat. Some, considering it to be a miracle, have even started worshipping the goat, Singh said.
