Two people were found dead in a suspicious state under a stack of hay from Gaurishankhar VDC-8 of Sarlahi on Sunday. The identity of both the deceased is yet to be ascertained, police said. Locals had informed the police after discovering the bodies. According to DSP Ramesh Kumar Khadka, the bodies have bullet wounds but the reason behind it is not yet known. DSP Khadka also said they seem to be of Madhesi origin based on their physical attributes. A team of police has reached the site and further investigation of the case is underway, police added. The bodies were found at a kitchen garden of Kul Dip Mahato, a former Maoist, who reportedly runs a gang cell.
