"Dhaka Topi Day” is being celebrated in Nepal on Friday. Nepali youths have been celebrating the first day of January as 'Dhaka Topi Day'.A unique campaign spearheaded by a team of Nepali youths to celebrate 'Dhaka Topi' Day on the first day of January, has found its space in the Gregorian calendar, albeit as an informal event. The event, which was first organized four years ago, was marked today by youths in the capital by assembling mass assembled with Dhaka Topis to show their solidarity in the preservation effort.
