In a congratulatory message to the British Prime Minister David Cameron on his impressive victory in parliamentary election held on Thursday, the prime minister said, “As we look to mark 200 years of our friendship, I have the honor to extend to Your Excellency the cordial invitation to pay an official visit to Nepal at a time convenient to you.”
The prime minister has mentioned that Cameron’s visit to Nepal will give an opportunity to the people of Nepal to find the oldest friend in their midst.
“The visit will be a milestone in our long-standing relationship and cooperation. I look forward to working together and making Nepal-British relations to work for peace, stability, democracy, and development in Nepal, region and the beyond,” Koirala said.
Congratulating the British premier, Koirala said “It is my pleasure to extend warmest congratulations on your impressive electoral victory in general elections. On behalf of the people and Government of Nepal, I send my best wishes for your success. ”
