Indian leaders from Bihar state, including RJD leader Raghubansh Singh, emphasized on the formation of a broader alliance among the agitating Madhes-based parties. Top leaders of the United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF) Upendra Yadav, Rajendra Mahato and Mahendra Yadav were in Majhaffarpur to attend the dialogue of Madhes movement organized by Media for Border Harmony on Sunday. With different alliances in existence, strength has been divided among the Madhesis, according to Indian leaders. They urged the UDMF top leaders to unite all the parties together for the formation of a broader alliance. Citing a recent instance of Bihar polls, RJD leader Singh said that the formation of an alliance during the elections instilled enthusiasm among the people that led to the change in the results. “First get united among yourselves, then you'll receive overwhelming support,” he suggested.
