The world’s biggest Buddha image made up of human chains was exhibited at Tundikhel, Kathmandu on Saturday to impart a message of world peace from the birthplace of Lord Buddha. Children’s Health, Education, Environment Rights (CHEER UP NEPAL) – the host of the event – created human-made image of Buddha to wish for peace from the Buddha’s land. As many as 10,000 youths and students had joined their hands in the making of the image. Vice-chairperson of the host organization, Ridam Karki said the event was organized to give a message of world peace through Buddha’s teachings as the unrest spreading across the world has negatively impacted the children’s life.
