22-member squad announced for T-20 qualifiers

Posted by Anup Baral May 19, 2015 :A 22-member preliminary squad to play T-20 qualifiers and ICC World Cricket League match against Scotland was announced by Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN).The working committee meeting of Cricket Association of Nepal on Monday decided to send the national team to India to prepare for the upcoming ICC World Twenty20 Qualifier and ICC World Cricket League.

The team will go to India in the first week of June.Also the team will go to United Kingdom and the Netherlands to play practice matches before the tournaments and hire foreign batting coach and physio. CAN also approved the Malaysian Cricket Association’s proposal to host the Nepal Earthquake Fundraising Match between Nepal and World XI and decided to request other cricket boards for similar efforts.
