4.3 magnitude earthquake epicentre located at Sindhupalchok district

A mild tremor measuring 4.3 on the Richter Scale today hit central Nepal in the early hours. The aftershock was recorded at 7:41 am, with its epicentre located at Sindhupalchok district, 75 km northeast of Kathmandu. According to the National Seismological Centre, a total of 422 aftershocks of magnitude 4.0 and above have jolted different parts of the country after the deadly April 25 earthquake in which nearly 9,000 people were killed.
