Earthquake victims asks for government rule in country Nepal

Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal said, protracted agitation in the Tarai-Madhes and Indian unofficial blockade would end soon. “We are constantly doing our part to resolve Madhes problems. I am hopeful that the protest and blockade would end soon,” said the Maoist chief, while speaking at a program organized in the Capital on the occasion of seventh anniversary of Lumbini-Kapilvastu Day World Campaign. Saying that it was a matter of proud to run the campaign across the globe to publicize and promote the birthplace of Lord Gautam Buddha, Lumbini, the Maoist boss said that the campaign has played a great role in clearing up misconception about the birthplace of the Buddha. “The campaign has gained momentum to remove misconceptions about the birthplace of Buddha, which is a matter of pride,” he said. On the occasion, the campaign world coordinator Raj Kumar Shrestha said that as part of the campaign, false publications in textbooks in South Korea and Sweden about the birthplace of Buddha were corrected, while the campaign was being run in the United States of America and Australia. He said that they launched the campaign to clear the misconception that Buddha was born in India, adding that branch offices of the campaign have been established in 22 countries across the world and it was being run in other 80 countries.
